| Name | Libby Adamson |
| Nicknames | Lib, Libster, Elizajane |
| Occupation | Veterinarian |
| Current grade | Womens A - crits, womens B/ open D grade - road |
| Current bike/s | Wilier Cento roadbike and Spatz hardtail (equal favourites). Giant Trance dualie (armchair) and trusty old Specialised Rockhopper (the pub and touring bike). I know the N + 1 theory but I'm not sure the house can sustain more bikes. |
| First real bike | Blue Malvern Star, though the horses received a lot more attention back then |
| Grade you want to be competitive in | Happy to be in A grade - not sure if I can ever be truely competitive there... |
| How did you get into, or start cycling, and when? | Poor student no car - it's 35k from the vet faculty into the rest of Melbourne. Then went travelling - Berlin to Madrid by bike via the Alps, Dolomites and Pyrenees and I was hooked. |
| Favourite meal | Breakfast. Purple Pickle Eggs Benedict, Pain au chocolat when in France... |
| Favourite drink | Coffee, wine, water Gin and tonic on balmy summer evenings. |
| Fave bike kit | IRule knicks |
| Best sporting result | Tour of Timor 4th female. |
| Proudest moment | Second mixed pairs 24 hour Scott 2007. For someone who is a scaredy-cat mountain-biker that took a fair bit of training and a whole lot more mental preparation. Since then placed 1st mixed pairs 2008 and 1st team of four girls 2009 but still have to work hard at suppressing fear of rocks, skiddy surfaces and tree roots. |
| Short term goal or event you are training for | Learn how to race hard in first 30% of a race, not just the last 30%! Alpine Classic 250k 2010, Granfondo Feltre 2010 and hopefully Terra Australis 2010. |
