Albury Multisport Festival - 7/8 March 2009

This is advanced notice of TBC's end of season do.

We'll be taking a large par-tay contingent down to Albury on the Multi-sport weekend, 7/8 March.  There's a bit of something for everyone, so if your partner or any other tag-alongs are into running/tri/whatever there'll be something there for them, if that's their boat.

Last year our advanced party scoped out this event, which turned out to be a cracker, well run and plenty of fun and hospitality.

For us cyclists, there's graded 'club' crits on both days, and this year, possibly on at least one of the days it'll be held in the town centre.  These are fun and not to be taken too seriously!  You should come even if you don't feel like getting your legs ripped off, we still like a cheer squad and orange peelers.  For those mtber's there's also a state level MTB race. 

Our sister team, Sportscare, will also get the invite to this, so it'll be a merry old time!

You'll see the return of your favourite events from '08 plus some exciting new additions to the program including:
- a state level cross country mountain bike race forming part of the Victorian state series
- Amy's Ride (Albury), a first for regional NSW with proceeds raised going towards the Amy Gillett Foundation
- speed skating criteriums by Skate NSW
- a signature kayak event forming part of the Victorian marathon series
- the mile dash and 10km runs, and
- an Athletes Party!
